: effectively. I'm not sure if it may be a little fragile, it is
: protected behind the cheek plate, so is out of harms way.

And from the outside. The cable is inserted into the stainless steel tube and held with a grub screw. The SS tube slides into the extension on the underside of the hull. Very smooth to operate.
