Strip: surf ski

I have a expedition single and am finishing a night heron. I was in the expedition and went out with a GIRL in a surf ski. We went 5 miles. 2.5 each way. She RELAY kicked my as. I paddled full bore the compete time and she left me in the dust.I would like to build a light sit on top that could at least keep up, but that may be impossible.How is the mystery?And are there any others?
