Sure ya can ... lots of people do it ... I think it's more comfy than foot pegs.

But ... plan everything out wisely so you have some wiggle room ... don't jam yourself in ... don't let yourself rattle around ... allow for a little adjustment. Things to consider are the front bulkhead location, seat location, back band location, clearance between the cockpit rim and your back, leg position, knees bent/straight, thigh/knee bracing, knee tubes etc. IMO the best plan is to leave a gap in the middle of your foot pads so you can straighten your legs out ... and make sure your foot pads aren't really squishy ... personally I like a little padding for comfort but I want a good solid surface to push against.
