Here is a picture of my last one which is working out very well

As it worked out there is Room in front of the foam block so the block forward of it is sliced into three one inch slices which can be inserted or removed as required for differing lengths of legs.

Since you have not yet glued in your bulkhead you could position it with a few inches to spare and do the same, unless you are tall, then you needn't bother, just cut some extra slices for shorties.

I am actually preferring this to foot pegs as it allows more options for moving one's feet around. I prefer my feet a little closer to the centre than foot pegs usually allow.

Also, the Angled block is turning out to be very comfortable. I'm doing the same with the new shearwater. Hell, minicel is turning me into a lazy luxury lover, I am considering lining the entire inside of the cockpit in it, except I may fall asleep on the water.
