Hmm, do you happen to remember where you went? I ordered from a sawmill in Fairbanks that ships stuff down here once a week, and that's what the guy said. Spenard Builder's Supply had some great long pieces, but for $4/ft, which is way out of my price range, especially for 1x3. I figured there must be a better option, maybe if I go to SBS and get some shorter stuff to scarf instead of removing all the knots from what I've got. Complications - hopefully I can get it done before winter.

I may not have mentioned, too, this is a skin-on-frame deal.
