Yeah Brian. I put the control box in the middle of the walnut strip for cosmetic reasons. On the second boat we moved it closer to the sheer so that the middle of the box is on the outer white pinstripe. Thus it is tucked in closer to the corner. In this position it can be easily supported, or protected, with an inch or two of plastic pipe epoxied into the corner.

I am going to do this with the first boat too, but it won't work out with quite as much finesse.

I will post a photo when I have done it.

The whole setup is not as simple as the home made one I put into POLE DANCER, and not as attractive, and probably harder to repair on the fly, but for ease and speed of insertion it is the job. For everything else time will have to tell.
