A blow to one's self esteem to be thrashed by a girl, although I wouldn't mind so much being thrashed by Freya, but then she is actually a Goddess in mufti, so she doesn't really count.

I think the next trip you guys should do together is a ten day wilderness camping trip. Then she will be wishing she had your expedition single instead of the ski.

Unless you are planning on paddling regularly with people in surf skis I would suggest that you put this horrible experience behind you and build your boats based on intended use and the conditions you want them to be comfortable in.

I built a fast boat, just for the hell of it really, because I wanted to see if I could, but it is the least used boat in my fleet.

Looking again at a picture of Freya, I have taken note of the size of her biceps and I have changed my mind about being thrashed by her.
