I use Titebond II on all my paddles, have never had a problem. All done on table saw, no jointer used on any. I wrap lower edges with bias-cut 3.25 oz satin weave 'glass cloth to reduce dinging, and epoxy entire paddle for waterproofing and surface stiffening.

Everyone who makes GP's does things just a little differently. Do what works best for you.
