It is preferable to lay two lengths of ply together and cut both sides at once, slightly oversized. That is the planks for the entire boat.

Clamp the lengths together and plane to the line.

This way you will get total symmetry.

Then, with the keel pieces still clamped together drill holes along the keel line at appropriate distances. They will line up together.

Drill the holes in the chine section of the keel planks too while they are still together.

It may then help to wire the keel planks together and wire in the bulkheads to the bottom planks. See pic below.

Then lay in the next set of hull planks using the bulkheads to hold them in place with bungies etc.

Then drill holes one at a time opposite the holes in the first planks and wire up as you go. I start at the front and work backward. Don't start in the middle.

For multiple chine boats repeat until done.

Repeat with the deck.
