Nice thing about a hybrid boat is that you are just doing a deck out of strips. Don't really need much in the way of plans. If a plywood (s&G) design calls for deck beams to support the plywood deck as it is being bent over the top of the hull, then just install those deck beams and lay your strips over them. You may want to make one or two more deck beams for spots in front of back of the ones in your plans--just to keep the strips from sagging. You can shape those by eye, or use a straight edge running between the existing deck beams to determine their shape.

If the design you have does not have a curved deck, then make your own deck beams. i think a 60 " radius makes a nice curve, but draw a few circles to see what you need to get enough lift in the center to repel water and to fit your feet. Cut some patterns from cheap plywood or cardboard and drape them with an old bed sheet to get an idea of what the deck will look like, A few staples from a desktop stapler will hold the sheet in place, so you can climb in and check for foot room. Pull ALL the staples before you put the sheet back on the bed!

When you have the shape you like, cut plywood supports and hot-glue them to your hull. Once the deck is stripped you can just hit them from the side to pop them free and scrape off any remaining glue.
