: I built my second skin-on-frame for my daughter by modifying Yost's
: Sea Tour 15R for a target length of 13.5' (ended up almost
: exactly 14'). I stuck with a beam of 22" and narrowed the
: bow and stern somewhat and added stubbier bow and stern.
: This was a saran wrap test of the boat to see how it paddled before
: I invested in skinning the boat. My daughter was pleased at the
: stability and tracking of the boat, so nothing but good comments
: from the client (and she's hard to please).
: But, what do you think about how it's sitting in the water? Not
: enough volume in the stern (sits back a bit)?
: Thanks for any comments or thoughts,
: Eric Compas
She's leaning against the coaming, it's not a backrest, move her a couple inches forward and the trim will be better.
