Here is a comparison photo of the Nikon D80, Lumix DX1, and Lumix DMC-TS2 to show the size of the DX1. The body is just slightly larger than the TS2, and the lens (14-42) is just a bit smaller than the Nikon 18-55 standard kit lens. I should have taken the lens hood off for an accurate comparison. For carrying/stowage you can turn the lens hood around over the lens to make it more compact. I did some preliminary tests against the D80 today and it slightly edged out the D80 on image clarity and pixelation when enlarged, but this was not yet a scientific test. Waiting for a hurricane to pass by and hopefully will have a good sunny day this weekend to do some tests. So far I like it more and more each day!
