I have often towed my FIRESTAR behind my double [used as a triple] [Sea Bear],often when my crew mutiny and choose to walk home, usually for good reason like rough conditions.Some times I have had to choose a strong,fearless paddler for the front seat and go off surf beaches with one meter green waves before they turn to soup.The afore mentioned ex crew have to push both boats out.The towed boat will yaw significantly but never has it rolled,even in the surf.The tied off spray skirt is obvious and load it up to the gunwales is best .For lee shores keep plenty of sea room as steering needs to be thought out well in advance under these conditions.Following seas, just keep on the power, you need to keep your wits about you.The towed boat will want to kiss you're a*s regularly.
