Too many machines restrict workspace alright. And some really don't get enough use to justify their footprint.

The best thing I did though for reclaiming shop space was to build my second shed as a double story. The second level is a sacrificial six by eight metre space that is just for the family to store their junk in. It is half full already and the junk that is in it mostly came out of my workshop. I no longer hear the following conversation: "where shall I leave this?" "oh put it in Et's workshop for the moment, we'll decide later (like next century)."

Now if I can just find a way to stop my son from "borrowing" my tools I'll be in clover.
