Chuck,
I built an 18' Biadarka on an open shelf (like a book shelf with no back), ~3' high x 10' long made of 2 x 10 planks. I mounted 2 - 10" wheels to one end. I moved this around every day since my garage is 19' long. Didn't see a problem, except for shutting the garage door on the boat at the end of one work day.
Marc
: I'm hoping to start my next boat in the next week or 2. I'll be
: building at TechShop, an open access shop. I may have to move my
: boat around the shop while stripping. Definitely not a good
: idea, but how much of a bad idea is it? I can carefully re-level
: everything each time it might be moved. I guess I could build a
: super rigid movable cart for my strongback, but that seems like
: a lot of trouble & expense for maybe not much benefit.
: Thoughts??
: Thanks!
