Is it because of the risk of glue residues from the tape that I have to wait until the first layer is completed?
I have actually already glassed the bottom of my kayak including the football. I did that without using masking tape, but the edge of the football got a little messy, because when I dragged the squeegee across the the edge of the football, strands of glass were pulled out.
Later I'll have to do other reinforcements, so I was hoping to find a better way to do them.
