Those are more like swells than waves?

Short steep 6" to 1' chop might affect it more
I agree the boat shape is a big factor.

What i want is for my boat to aim into chop while reeling in bull reds.

I tried a sea anchor. Also tried a sail fin on the stern. Also have a second large skeg about between the
Knees. No effect in mild wind. Low current Ballast up front is next.
