I put the the third fill coat on the deck using "squeegee" and foam brush to paint the ends. The result was ridges surrounded by dips at the edge of each pass. I sanded most of it flat but their is still some very visible dips which if I sand any more it starts cutting in to the fibre.

Questions:
What should have I used to apply the fill coats? I tried the foam roller once and it jut foamed up the epoxy like no other...

How should I paint on a final seal/ levelling coat of epoxy? This is to seal the fibres I cut into her and their and get it to a point where I can sand it smooth. I am using Raka slow setting epoxy and wont be able to get back to it until hour 36 or 40 after the last coat of epoxy. I have been doing a coat every 8 to 12 hours to get chemical bond.

How many fill coats of epoxy do you use and much do you rely on the varnish to level things out?
