That's Maltby Lake in Brighton Michigan.
It's part of the Huron Meadows Metro Park. Was a very quiet lake, no houses, no gas motors. Looked to be a awesome fishing lake. Just looking off the dock there were tons of good sized fish swimming through the weeds.

As for the model of boat... very good question?
I honestly have no idea, but wish I did.
