I managed to get all temporary PARTIAL bulkheads into place this morning. All measurements lined up beautifully and all bulkheads went in nicely with a little tweaking here and there. I made only one mistake when I was trying to fashion a large bulkhead and ended up with one that was only half the size I needed. I have absolutely no idea what happened but I think a gremlin changed my lines while I was cutting. I did manage to salvage that piece of wood and made a smaller bulkhead for another spot, not quite where I planned on putting one but close enough to work for me. The next step is to start using my long scraps of plywood to fashion new panels for the hull. Since I still have 3 1/2 hours before I head off to work night shift, I figger I might as well get that ball rolling. I just might get this project completed well before it actually gets cold. That would work well for me because I will need time to play and get used to this boat before the serious ice starts forming on the river.
