I started laying out and cutting scraps of off-cut plywood to make a new panel for the kayak. Using my time as best as I can while I wait to head off to work. Here is one of the new panels or pieces of off cuts which will be used to make a panel. I overlaid each raw piece and cut them together to get a matched cut. When I get back from working night shift I will glue them together then trace out the new panel and sand it to fit into the gap in the hull. I will then lay out more bits of plywood, glue them and then trace out the first panel onto the second raw panel, sand and shape then start tying it all onto the kayak. I really need to be retired so that I have time to get everything done that needs to be done before I roll over to the other side. Sigh!
