I agree totally. However, the reason woodworking/boatbuilding is so enjoyable to us, is due in part to the fact that we do not have to make a living at it. We can take the time to enjoy the dust clouds or the wood curling off our handplanes, all while enjoying a stiff snort. I don't know how guys like Rob, Nick et al. make a living doing what they do, but I wish them well and understand that I wouldn't have been able to make my boat and have other boats planned without their products and services.
