Marc,
The background is just a blur I made Saturday with Autumn trees, and I just clipprd out the kayak in photoshop and plopped it on top. The blur is easy to make just set a slow shutter speed and move, shake, twist the camera. It can make some fun backgrounds. Some of the folks on this forum could suggest otehr ways to see the same thing but I have not had much experience in that direction.
