So I guess this is not a launch pic but soon. Finally completed and feel pretty good about it.
The nylon and goop from Corey and skinboat was easy to use. I did not get the perfect glass like finish on the skin. Ended up with a few runs but overall pretty good.
I am trying a bit of the dura-color bedliner on the bow keel area. Sprayed on great and seems really tough. I tried a test piece prior to spraying on the boat. With one this coat it took about 125 passes with a flat head screwdriver to get through the liner. Amazingly it seems to stick to the urethane with no real prep to the surface.
I don't have a scale but it feels 40lbs'ish based on the known weight of friends boats.
Seattle weather is not being kind so hopefully the maiden voyage happens this week.
