Mike at the Eli Whitney Museum contacted me early this spring about summer classes they have ever year for kids and one of them is a boat building class. This year they wanted to try SOF and wanted to use one of my designs. Well, I am all about getting kids involved in the sport so I did what I could to help them out. I new school was starting back and I had checked their web site but not seen anything on the classes.

This morning I got an email with photos and posted them on my Blog. I am proud to have been a small part in this. Love seeing kids being taught to build something instead of just buying it. And of course being introduced to kayak at a young age too!
