We all take our chances when we go out there on the water. Some take more chances than others because they are experienced. Peter Thompson,19, whom I never knew, beat a waterfall many times but this time he lost out to the river. Consider this a reminder to think hard about what you do when you decide to go paddling. Here is to a moment of silence for Peter and for all of us who go out there to do what we love best. Paddle safe.
