The rails or edges of the boards are fitted on the ribs with triangular pieces of wood which can be bent to the curve of the board. Then they are shaped to a nice round edge. The idea is to have a hollow board with solid wooden rails. Hope that helps I am not good with computer stuff or i would draw a picture. Joe
