S&G: Turning and S&G into a hybrid

Hello All,
I am toying with the idea of building a Point Bennet but with a strip deck. I've build an Outer Island and a Guillemot, but those forms are are already a part of the plans. It seems for this type of boat (a hybrid) you would have to make your own forms for the deck, but how is this done? I don't have access to any fancy CAD/CAM design software nor am I going to buy any, so is there an alternate method?
