It's possible to use the plans for a strip deck (from plans you own) and modify them for a different (S&G) hull. I put a modified Black Pearl deck on a narrowed Arctic Tern hull last year. The only critical thing is to get the seat/cockpit in the right spot in the hull.

Get a copy of Allan Vaitses book "Lofting", rip a 4x8 sheet to make a 2 x 16 work table, use some strips as battens, and loft the boat in the traditional way. Using the traditional method was what I did to correct/fair my plans when I built my 'generic Brit boat'. It works fine.
