I made my own deck forms and placed them about every foot. I covered the edges of the forms with packaging tape to keep the strips from being glued to them. The forms were then hot glued to the inside of the glassed hull. Figure out how high you want the front of the cockpit and where your feet will be so that you have enough room. Then use a batten to get a nice curved line for the deck.
