I'm not sure what a slider is, but threading bungee thru tight holes is made easy by folding the sheath back by a few inches, trimming back the rubber core, pulling the sheath forward tightly so it necks right down, saturating with CA, and slicing the very end at a sharp angle with a razor knife.
Now you can thread in very tight holes. If your slider happens to have slots instead of holes, or has curved holes - you can preshape the sheath before saturating.
