I have someone yelled at me and shot a shot gun blast 20 yards in front of my bow to warn me not to step onto his "private beach."
I thought in California: any land upto to the high water mark is consider public accesss. I was just following the coast and have no intention to beach my boat, but the jerk could have me or my boat by accident. When I talked to the police, I got the feeling they know whom I was talking about but pretented that they could not do anything short of a high-def video that clearly ID that jerk.
