All right- I'm going to do a Bill Hamm and comment on my own post here...
If you want to buy a whitewater boat that actually performs well (my apologies to Pirouette paddlers) on the water, RPMs are great surf boats and they roll like a snap. I can twist around and get my head out of the water while capsized without much contortion, and I made my first attempt at a hand roll ever like a pro on my first try.
Pirouettes are easy to come by and inexpensive around here, but you can't find people willing to part with their RPMs.
