Off Topic: I need to build a balance board...

A balance board is basically a 1' x 3' piece of plywood curved so that kids can step on it to learn balance and just have fun with it. The depth of the curvature is roughly 10 inches to one foot. I am thinking to make a simple frame into which a straight 3' piece of plywood can be forced to give it the curvature depth I need while holding that curve so that a second piece can be laid on top of it in order to laminate both pieces together in that shape. Now I cannot remember my calculus but I know there are some of you who know exactly what I need. How long does the frame need to be so that when I force the 3' piece of plywood into it, it will have a curvature depth of about 12 inches?
