Those are too stiff. They'll likely damage your glass. Going to an auto parts store and getting auto body filler spreaders is just about as cheap, and it's the right tool for the job. The 3M Dynatron ones are noticeably different from the generics. They're more supple, and you have more control, and the dried epoxy comes off from them easier. You flex the spreader, it cracks the epoxy, you peel it off cleanly. The plastic ones for drywall and spackling don't flex and the epoxy will stick to them.

You can probably find them at your local auto parts store or painter's supply store just as easily. Here I can buy singles of any size loose instead of in a blister pack for about the same price as one of the plastic spreaders you're talking about.
