I worked briefly for 3M before the company I was working for was sold off- but if it's an adhesive or abrasive or something for using either 3M is the gold standard. I don't bother with anything else, because it doesn't work as well. The only exception I make is the Mirka Abralon. If it worked better from a durability standpoint I'm sure that 3M would make a version, but there some instances when I really prefer the extra dust collection. With my Bosch sander, a dust deputy, and shop vac with a cleanstream filter it is literally dustless.

Anyway- I digress. Get yourself over to an auto parts supply store and fork over a buck for a real 3M spreader and you won't use a credit card again. The edge is super supple so it conforms well to complex shapes, it's got just the right stiffness, and it's got a very waxy surface and cleans up perfect IF you let the epoxy dry first. So- I will admit that although I don't buy them in bulk like Bill, I do have several of several sizes. Once the epoxy starts to kick off on the one you're using you have to just set it aside and wait for it to cure.
