I will probably work on reducing the obnoxiousness of the ads. They were there all along, but were not as annoying.

Were the 'targeted' ads there before? (e.g. I was doing research on scanners and now this forum presents me with scanner ads..) I never noticed them, I guess.

Also, the % of the screen that's devoted to non-thread/non-message content has shot up quite a bit. On my monitor, only about 30-40% of the screen now has 'real content' once I ignore the 6cm-wide border of 'other stuff' all around the screen.
I'd have no objection to a 'Donate' button up in the top corner of the screen, but perhaps they don't work so well as ads. I do have a 'never-broken' principle of not clicking on ads on web pages, but that's probably an 'old-fogey' thing?
