Yes i'm from Ontario too. Thanks for the warm welcome ladies and gents. It's quite amazing that you name the symptoms to a tee. If I've learned anything from the past, it's to temper my enthusiasm for any project I have in mind. Inevitably my conversation turns to discussing the project with those not really all that interested and accusations of being "unfaithful" surely arise. Problem is I don't realize how truly single minded I become so I will try to limit my conversation with enthusiasts here on the forum.
I wonder, would it be wise to build 2 kayaks at once with hopes the bug would be contagious?(at least the "paddling" bug).
I enjoyed your pics and its only feeding the desire. Spending tomorrow prepping the build area.
