As I mentioned in my other post, I'm looking to get my Betsie Bay kayak refinished. I've got one person who's willing to do it, but no one I've talked to has ever heard of him, which makes me a bit nervous.

One person who comes highly recommended is a long drive away - and he mostly works on fiberglass.

Does anyone know of anyone in eastern Newfoundland who works on wood boats, who would be willing / interested in refinishing a kayak? And whom you could recommend?
