Thanks, Nick. That's what I figured, pretty much, but I wanted to be sure.

Can a wood boat be made in a mold? Okay, I don't know much of anything about boat building - but I thought molds were for materials that start out liquid, are poured into the mold, and then they solidify. Like plastic, or bronze. Is there some other way of constructing things in molds that doesn't work that way - like maybe wood is steamed until pliable and then fitted to a mold?

My boat is twenty years old, so how Betsie Bays are now made may be different from how mine was made. I know they are much lighter now than mine - I think the new Recluse would weigh around ten pounds less than mine. That would be nice! Of course it would cost a lot more than I paid Greg Stamer for it, too!
