Do you have hatches? Your bulkhead must be sealed with marine adhesive if it is closed cell foam . I sure would remove the foam and inspect the wood rather than decouple the deck and hull. Then again it is time for me to join the petrel. I don't enjoy sticking my head into that sticky mess and cussing that gooey tape down to the bitter ends. rh
