Wow all those beautiful kayaks and that is the worst epoxy problem you have encountered? I think that kayak will break in half right there. Seriously heat it up gently with a heat gun and lightly scrape it with a razor blade. Key it with some 220 grit and lay on a slightly larger oval of glass. Try not to cut into the fresh wood because that could leave a small light area. Feather the oval patch with razor blade while still green,let it cure and lightly wet sand. Then hot coat. I throw this out because it might be a starting point for a more refined treatment. Do not boil,burn, or blister the glass with heat gun. Just a couple of seconds make it very workable. best rh
