I tried your suggestion. It was very helpful. There is no need to raise the height of any forms aft of the seat. The 1" addition the other four forms will provide looks to be pretty close to achieve the cockpit and seating position I like.

Glad to help. The 'standard' OI is definitely on the 'tight' side for me. Wearing Size 10 neoprene boots, my heels are touching (each other) at the centerline and toes are at the hull, so there's not much scope for adjusting my leg position. I've gotten used (in other boats) to moving my knees toward the midline to get more leg drive in my forward stroke, so extra height (combined with firm thigh brace when needed) is something I now like.

Every addition to the fleet teaches me something! (That's my excuse for the 'nother boat syndrome.... ;-) )

The other mod I'd like to see in the OI is something to make it turn a bit easier (though it is a great boat for straight-line workouts).
