I rarely have a problem with glass wetting out clear, but I'm also it seems one of the few that use a brush to spread epoxy anymore. I find I can more easily control how it spreads using a brush and my speed comes from learning to use polyester resin instead of epoxy, very short work times.

I do use a roller on big areas though, I prefer the candy stripe roller covers instead of the foam ones most seem to use. Never had a candy stripe roller cover have solvent issues, have had that problem several times with foam covers (non-West brand).
