Off Topic: (Plywood) mosquito flies again

Just watched the newly rebuilt mosquito from Avspecs Ltd (https://www.facebook.com/Avspecs) fly over Wellington with a Spitfire and P40 for company. It was much larger and louder than I expected. Been a wonderful week for plane spotting as a local warbirds show has meant I've seen a Vampire and I think a Sopworth Camel doing practice flights.

Of relevance to the kayakforum is the ply construction of the mosquito. Very lightweight and tough. There's a good video on youtube showing the mosquito with a vampire and spitfire over auckland: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rGfQQWOsoB8
