Instinctively that looks bow down to me. But you will never really know until you take it out in moving water and wind.

I think you are going to be glad to have the extra space behind the seat though.

I left the cockpit four inches longer than my standard opening on the pole dancer and was glad I did. I moved the seat three inches forward in the end to get the balance right. The boat felt fine in flat water, but was lea cocking in rough weather.

I don't leave loads of space behind my seat back as a general rule. Not having that space behind is really no pain, unless you love layback rolls, and to be honest, how many of those are you planning in that boat. Isn't that what the BP is for?
