First of all, thank you France for fighting along with the Americans to help us win the Revolutionary War for our independence. We couldn't have done it without you!

I find the opinion that the Point Bennett needs to be loaded interesting. Although it handles a load well, I much prefer to paddle it unloaded any day. The only advantage to being loaded that I can find is that it's more stable, but that also makes it harder to edge.

and on this side of the atlantic ocean, the Point Bennett is known/described as a boat which needs to be loaded to enter its water lines, most suitable for expedition than day-boating. I don't know if it is totally true but I see with pleasure that Duane is on the board, so I have no doubt he will give me his thoughts on this point ;)
