Epoxy runs happen to everybody at some point I think. I have found scrapers to work really well. For the drips I will shave them off, carefully, with a 1/4 inch chisel. I try to use edge tools as much as I can with epoxy to reduce the dust, which is very nasty until everything is fully cured.
