even with bagging, Kevlar is difficult to get consistent results. Weights vary , might not be an issue as much with a kayak build...but with paddle making it can fast become unacceptable. I don't care for anything that runs more than about 1 tenth of an ounce in variance. Kevlar is best in a sandwich as an inner layer, doesn't fare out well {neither does Diolen} but Diolen isn't as thirsty and is easier to get consistent repeat parts. These 2 material have several properties that differ enough that one doesn't replace the other. S glass is a nice material to work with and imparts some good sound repeat performance and excellent properties.
