Good morning,for me ,Jack,
Sand the high spots,ridges of the offending material so sloping the two surface heights blending them as it were.The next coating [just around the new area]will make the white chalkey exposed ends of the glass fibers disappear in the wet out.I am quite brutal with my offending glass sanding.So far no problems.
